The LF200-1.0 is a new type of electrode that solves the problems of the LF200S with needle insertion and DNA buffer injection. Both electrodes are now integrated into a single unit, so that only a single needle is needed to be inserted. It is less complicated and causes much less damage to the mouse brain.

The electrodes of the disks whose radius are different respectively. The anode (+), which DNA and/or RNA concentrate on is designated to be smaller than the cathod. Thus, LF650 series with the asymmeric disks are suitable for localized electroporation.
